Maruti recalls 9,125 vehicles to address potential seat belt issues
In order to address potential issues with a portion of the front row seat belts, Maruti Suzuki India announced on Tuesday that it is recalling 9,125 units of its models Ciaz, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, and Grand Vitara.
According to a regulatory statement by Maruti Suzuki India, the impacted vehicles were produced between November 2 and November 28 of 2022.
It stated: "In a rare instance, seat belt disassembly may result from a suspected problem in one of the kid parts of the shoulder height adjustment assembly of front row seat belts.
The business announced that it has chosen to free of charge test and replace the faulty item on the suspicious automobiles.
It stated that "the company's authorised workshops will be contacting affected vehicle owners for immediate attention."
