GST receipts for November is Rs. 1.46 lakh crore, down 3.9% from October.

 


The finance ministry reported on December 1 that India collected Rs 1.46 lakh crore in GST in November.

The GST collections for November are Rs 1.46 lakh crore, up 10.9 percent from the same month last year but down 3.9 percent from October.

In November 2021 and October 2022, respectively, the gross GST collections were Rs. 1.32 lakh crore and Rs. 1.52 lakh crore.

GST receipts have now exceeded Rs 1.40 lakh crore for nine consecutive months, despite a decline in November.

State GST was Rs 32,651 crore in November, compared to Central GST of Rs 25,681 crore. Both the integrated GST and cess totaled Rs 77,103 crore.

From the Integrated GST, the government paid out Rs 33,997 crore to the Central GST and Rs 28,538 crore to the State GST. As a result, after settlement, the Center and the states each earned Rs 59,678 crore and Rs 61,189 crore in revenue in November, respectively.
